The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Shashi Shekhar, IAS (TN:81), presently Additional Secretary, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Environment and Forests in the vacancy of Ms. Gauri Kumar, IAS (GJ:79).
